Ian Dawson
Ian Dawson (b.1969). His exuberant sculptures repurpose 3d prints into a post digital explosion of matter. His recent watercolours explore strata and transformation with both delicacy and power. He also creates playful family-oriented workshops such as The Copyshop.
He has exhibited extensively with solo shows in New York, London and Paris and has works in both public and private collections worldwide. His work is featured in Contemporary British Sculpture (Schiffer), Collage, Assembling Contemporary Art (Black Dog) and Making Contemporary Sculpture (Crowood Press). He lives and works in London.
