Julia Vogl is American & British with an international practice. She makes social sculpture, installations and prints that are engaging with site and colourfully form community.
Her work primarily focused on lifestyle and what things do we, as humans, share and what makes us distinct. Commissioned by Tate, ITV, Facebook, Hull 2017 City of Culture, Artlink Hull, and most recently selected for the Royal Academy of Art Summer Exhibition 2021 ( ON VIEW NOW).
All her works aim to represent the individual that participate as well as the collective, as beautiful installation that fosters a greater conversation. Passionate about colour, pattern, and print, the works on profile here- wearable art- reflect meditative drawings and prints she has been doing over the last year.
