Loreal Prystaj is an award-winning American artist based in London. Her innovative and original work has been exhibited in exhibitions around the world, and featured in numerous publications.
Her work focuses on the subconscious and questions the inherited psyche. By performing the self as a cultural motif, Prystaj transforms the home into a mise-en-scène, that disrupt the conventions of feminity, as well as the genres of photography such as the still-life and self-portraiture.
