Nina Mae Fowler (b.1981) graduated in Fine Art Sculpture from Brighton University in 2003. Fowler has been shortlisted for numerous prizes and awards, including the Jerwood Drawing Prize (2015 & 2010) and the BP Portrait Award (2008).
Her works have been exhibited in museums in Europe and the National Portrait Gallery, UK. Fowler is represented by galleries in London (Cob Gallery), Paris (Galerie Suzanne Tarasieve) and Berlin (artnow Gallery).
Her works are held in notable public collections including; The National Portrait Gallery (UK), Balliol, Magdalen and New Colleges Oxford (UK), Colección Al Limite (Chile). In 2018, David Lynch’s establishment Silencio held a retrospective of Fowler’s work.
Fowlers work is also included in the private collections of Sir Ridley Scott, Jude Law, Roland Mouret, John Maybury, Dame Marina Warner, Polly Stenham, Sharleen Spiteri, Daniel Templon and others.
Publications include Measuring Elvis (Cob Gallery, 2015) and Ruined Finery (Cob Gallery,2020).
