Robert Cooper
Robert Cooper is a multidisciplinary artist working across sculpture, photography, drawing and digital illustration. His work revels in a discomfort where the mass-produced intersects with nature. He is interested in how we surround ourselves with products and images oblivious to the violent industrial processes that enabled them to get there. He often uses the images of animals as a conduit to visualise and discuss the realities of these themes. He is interested in captioning motion in drawing with his expressive use of line.
Robert is currently working on two shows, a solo presentation at The Bomb Factory Art Foundation which opens on May 20th 2021, and a duo show with artist Kate Dunn opening at THE TUB Hackney on June 13th 2021.
