Shane Bradford
Since the turn of the century British artist Shane Bradford has established an international presence as a painter and multi-media artist, living and working in London. Since winning the Celeste Painting Prize in 2007, he has gone on to partake in numerous exhibitions, residencies and art fairs worldwide. A Pollock-Krasner Foundation Awardee in 2019 Shane recently founded Assembly Line, a democractic platform for the production of art multiples by himself and selected guests.
Shane is well known for his 'dipping' technique, whereby all manner of objects are submerged repeatedly in multicoloured emulsions, the resulting pattern performing a conceptual duet with the objects original meaning.
