Sean Worrall is an artist, a painter, a paint addict, a maximalist, and a (slightly reluctant yet rather busy) curator. Currently based in East London where he co-runs Cultivate, a now nomadic gallery, previously defiantly housed in a space smack bang in the middle of Vyner Street. Sean regularly exhibits nationally, and internationally both in galleries, alternative spaces and on the streets.
For this edition of the Art Car Boot Fair Sean is offering smaller original paintings including a series paintings and prints of Electric paintings painted especially for the Electric Art Car Boot Fair, interpretations of electric album covers painted during just one very loud rlectric listen of the album concerned
Sean paints every single day, besides Cultivate, he also runs Organ magazine, has presented a radio show on London arts radio station Resonance FM, he previously ran a long-standing alternative record label, put on hundreds of left-field gigs and music events - all very much fuelled by a punk rock DIY ethic. Sean was brought up on the isle of Anglesey, North Wales and has now lived and worked in Hackney, East London for quite a number of years - mostly Sean is a painter.
For the last six hundred and sixty or so days Sean has been painting a series of daily concluded paintings, a series called "Ten", one painting brought to a conclusion every day, always on a 10cm square canvas and always offered at a price of £10. All the "Ten" paintings concluded in April and May 2022 are offered here at the Art Car Boot Fair first before they are offered anywhere else.
