Tom Crawford’s work is saturated with imagery from the built environment; be it the vivid colours of exposed insulation in a part-built tower, the timber grids lining the void of a demolished office block, or the life around the marshes and retail units found at the liminal edges of cities. Painting is at the heart of this multidisciplinary practice, which at times, expands to incorporate moving image, sound, large-scale posters and writing.
Tom lives and works in London and has exhibited throughout the UK and Europe since completing his MFA at Goldsmiths in 2011.
