Welcome to our new online home and the Art Car Boot Fair's fresh, bright green new look for Spring/Summer 2021. In four weeks time our next event - the Flora & Fauna Edition - will take place perfectly in the middle of the most abundant month of the year. Fittingly we have artworks in abundance from a dazzling array of artists who have all been invited by us to make something special, just for the event. The event will open on May 15th for premium access ticket holders and members and then will be open to all for two more days to give everyone a chance to browse, peruse and discover. So join us on day one to enjoy the packed Programme of the Day and Live Access to artists in their studios and then check back in to explore more, see who’s releasing new artworks, who’s dropping their prices and all manner of other surprises to boot!

In the collaborative spirit that underpins all Art Car Boot Fair events, live and online, we have struck up some exciting new relationships with fellow arts organisations who are all bringing so many exciting artists and content to our Flora & Fauna edition: the Hospital Rooms, Darklight Arts, the Contemporary Art Society, Turps Banana, Hi-Noon, Ourtype, Flying Leaps to name just a few. As always our Flora & Fauna theme is only a suggestion to artists, however we are delighted with how many have responded to this theme and we’re thrilled every day as our inboxes fill up with ever more amazing images.

We will be back with a real fleshy, mingly Art Car Boot Fair as soon as we can and can't wait to meet everyone again, to let our actual hair down, hang out with our favourite artists, barter and bargain, elbow our way to the front of the queues, have a few drinks and enjoy some spectacular and idiosyncratic cabaret! Meanwhile, we’re going to deliver as much of the fun of the fair as we can so we hope you enjoy this event with us and however inured you are to zoom, try zooming into the artists studios and see what they’re up to!

Meanwhile, check out all the fabulous artists pages with their artist statements and stunning background images. The artworks for sale won’t be revealed en masse until May 15th so follow us on social media and open our regular missives to see who’s presenting what and start to make a wish list! We are making a concerted effort with our artists to bring you as many completely original artworks as possible at a price within reach of most, so if you normally plump for an edition maybe look into some original pieces this time round. If you already have a collection then think about what would really add to it to transform your walls and think about how you’re going to smile every day as you walk past your artwork, develop a relationship with the art, its maker and yourself! In these challenging times art really can and does make a difference.

The ACBF line-up is curated to ensure that there is something for everyone at every price point from a few quid up to a few thousand. As always there will be beauty, wit, irreverence, extraordinary process, the bizarre and the strange, flat works and objects, ceramics, sculpture, photography, drawing, etchings, paintings, digital works and a few performances. Plus we have a packed Programme of the Day with insights, exciting drawing classes, talks and performance. 

We’ll be filling this section with news and views in the lead up to the next event including our Open Boot feature where we take a closer look at individual artists and invite short form interviews with guest writers including Chloe Carroll and Maria Alvarez.
